Douglas-fir timbers and trusses, a substantial natural-stone fireplace and a stone foundation establish the home’s mountain-cottage character. Inside, hand-textured wood continues through beams, posts and the staircase.
Craft visible in every detail
Local artisans produced hand-forged railings and metal accents that complement the deeply textured fir. Rustic cabinetry, a timber bar top and practical built-ins carry the same design language into the kitchen and mudroom.
Triple-pane windows, high-efficiency insulation and balanced ventilation support year-round comfort, proving that a richly crafted home can also perform thoughtfully.
