Northern Sky was shaped by a family with a strong connection to nature, the outdoors, travel and architecture. These influences still shape how we view our homes. We no longer see them as mere buildings, but as spaces that reflect the people inside them and the environments around them.
We are a team of professionals with experience across residential design, drafting, construction, and development. Based in Martensville, Saskatchewan, we build custom homes, cottages, and renovations across Saskatoon and the surrounding area. Every project is rooted in thoughtful design, practical planning, and lasting craftsmanship.
Our roots are in residential development and home construction. A defining project came in 2009 with Heron Bay, our first full structural timber home. Inspired by the timeless character of ski chalets and mountain architecture in interior British Columbia, the project introduced a style that was uncommon in Saskatchewan at the time and helped shape a new direction for Northern Sky.
Since then, our work has continued to expand but the principles behind it have remained consistent. We value distinctive design, well-resolved details, and honest craftsmanship. Our goal is the same for every project, to create a space that feels personal, considered, and built to last.
